Nothing like the smell of burned rubber and tire smoke in the evening.

Could you achieve this on a 2 wheel vehicle, like a motorcycle?

So I'd imagine you wouldn't want too much of a negative camber to allow your tires to slip more?

how many of you on here don't believe you can drift a car unless it's RWD?

I'm still not getting the purpose of drifting. I can see how knowing how to drift can be helpful as part of an evasive maneuver but as seen here it's still not clear what defines 'the best' or 'the winner'. Is it the amount of tire smoke created? Is it all based on some form of a style-component that the un-trained eye fails to understand? It seems rather obvious that the car with the fastest lap-time is not the winner. Will a dueling component ever be incorporated? Note: "About 80% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking, and many others are caused by exposure to secondhand smoke. Smoking is clearly the strongest risk factor for lung cancer, but it often interacts with other factors. Smokers exposed to other known risk factors such as radon and asbestos are at even higher risk". Also: I wonder how many of these boys feel that their parents are totally lame, simply because Mom & Dad don't understand what it's all about.

honest question from someone not familiar with this stuff. Why are so many of the cars open hoods? Is is heat, weight or some other reason (like just being too lazy to fix it completely after crashing so many times?)

As a Mom, I thank you. I knew what it was, but I didn't know there was a name for it. Watched a viral video where a guy got nabbed by cops for "drifting," but it wasn't clear what he was attempting in the video.

Haha awesome footage brother and pretty neat explanation! i used to watch the anime Initial D, which really got me intersted in this drift sport…i ve a question tho do the front tyres specifically need to be toed-in?is it even necessary? and is there any specific threshold speed to perform a perfect drift?
